Haloperidol injection is a sterile, intramuscular medication available in 5mg/mL single-dose vials. Each 1 mL contains 5 mg of Haloperidol (as lactate) as well as 1.8 mg of methylparaben and 0.2 mg of propylparaben. The pH is balanced with lactic acid between 3.0 to 3.8, and the rest is water for injection. This medication is not child-resistant and is designed solely for institutional use. Please refer to the product insert for dosage recommendations, precautions, and warnings. This drug should be stored between 20° to 25° C (68° to 77 F), protected from light, and not frozen.
