This is a description of Pantoprazole Sodium for Injection, which is equivalent to pantoprazole 40 mg per vial. The product is sterile and for intravenous infusion only, as it is a single-dose vial and the unused portion should be discarded. No filter is required for administration. Each vial contains pantoprazole 40 mg (equivalent to 45.1 mg of pantoprazole sodium). It is intended for intravenous use only and reconstitution is needed. The storage temperature recommendation is between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) with excursions permitted between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Vials should be protected from light, and use of the carton is recommended. The package is not child-resistant and is intended for institutional use only.
