This is a drug fact sheet for a hemorrhoidal pad. The active ingredient is witch hazel, and it is used as an external astringent to relieve itching and burning associated with hemorrhoids. The product also contains aloe vera and is recommended for use up to 6 times a day. It is advised to clean the affected area with a mild soap and warm water before use, and to discard the pad after application. The product is designed for external use only and should not be put directly in the rectum or vagina by using fingers or a mechanical device. The inactive ingredients include aloe vera, benzyl alcohol, citric acid, glycerin, sodium citrate, tocopherol, purified water, among others. The product should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 5-30°C (53°-86°F). The product package contains 100 pads.*
