This is an antacid medication that can alleviate symptoms such as heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach. The medication can interact with prescription drugs, so it is important to consult a doctor or a pharmacist before using it. Adults and children over 12 years of age can take 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur, chewing them completely rather than swallowing the tablets whole. Pregnant women can take up to five tablets. It's important to not take more than seven tablets in a 24-hour period and not to use the maximum dosage for more than two weeks unless advised by a doctor. The medication contains adipic acid, elemental calcium, and other inactive ingredients. If the printed seal under the cap of the container is missing or torn, the medication should not be used.
