The product shrinks and protects the inflamed tissue and temporarily relieves itching, burning, and discomfort. It is suitable for intrarectal use only, and the user should seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before use in certain conditions. The ointment also contains inactive ingredients such as beeswax, benzoic acid, and glycerin. The product is designed for use by adults and children over the age of 12. If the condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, contact a doctor. Keep out of reach from children and contact Poison Control Center if swallowed.*
