Lansoprazole is a drug that reduces acid and effectively treats frequent heartburn, and these are non-branded capsules containing lanosoprazole at a concentration of 15 mg. A warning not to use the capsule is stated if the inner foil seal with the imprint titled “sealed for your protection” is missing or broken. There is also a caution on taking the drug if the patient has liver disease or exhibits any heart symptoms, has experienced heartburn for more than three months, or if they expect to take the medication for more than 14 days. It is indicated that the medication may take one to four days to take full effect, although some may feel complete relief within 24 hours. The warning states that if the discomfort persists or worsens after 14-days or more than one course of treatment every four months, a patient should stop using the drug and contact a doctor.
