These are 10 mg cetirizine hydrochloride capsules that provide 24-hour relief of indoor and outdoor allergies. This antihistamine medication helps to alleviate allergic symptoms such as sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, runny nose and itchy throat. It is suitable for adults and children aged six and above, but those with kidney or liver disease as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor. The recommended dosage is one capsule every 24 hours, and a lower strength of 5 mg is suitable for those with less severe symptoms. It is important to avoid drinking alcohol and using sedatives or tranquilizers while using this medication, as it may increase drowsiness. This medication is not recommended for people who have previously had an allergic reaction to it, hydroxyzine or an antihistamine. Inactive ingredients include butylated hydroxytoluene, gelatin, glycerin, mannitol, polyethylene glycol 400, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbitan, and sorbitol. The product comes in a pack of 25 liquid-filled capsules, and it is made in Canada and distributed by Old East Main Co.*
