This is a description of Profenibdrops, which are concentrated drops of oral suspension containing 50 mg of ibuprofen per 1.25 mL, for ages 6 to 23 months. These drops relieve pain and reduce fever and last up to eight hours. They come with a berry-flavored enclosed syringe. There is a dosing chart for the drops. The product should be used with great caution in case a severe allergic reaction occurs, especially for those who are allergic to aspirin. It contains NSAIDs that may cause stomach bleeding and increase the risk of heart attack, heart failure, and stroke.
