This is a drug information sheet for eye drops containing carboxymethylcellulose sodium 0.5%. The eye drops are used for temporary relief of dryness and irritation of the eye due to exposure to wind or sun. The container is single-use only and should be discarded after use. It is important not to touch the tip of the container to any surface or reuse the container. The eye drops should not be used if the twist top of the container is broken or missing. Any changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye necessitates a consultation with a doctor. The eye drops should be kept out of reach of children and not swallowed.*
