NEURITERX® is a high potency topical analgesic containing 0.05% capsaicin as an active ingredient. It provides penetrating pain relief for minor aches and pains associated with bruises, strains, sprains, arthritis, and backache. This product is for external use only, and should not be applied to wounds, damaged, broken or irritated skin or around the eyes and mucous membranes. Users should avoid contact with heat and direct sunlight, and not bandage tightly or use with heating pads. A mild tolerable burning and itching sensation may be experienced for up to 48 hours following application. If a severe burning sensation occurs, users should immediately discontinue use. The effectiveness of capsaicin increases with continued use, progressively reducing the ability of pain-transmitting neurons to signal pain to the brain. NEURITERX® should be applied to the affected area, thoroughly massaged until absorbed, and repeated no more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 18 should ask a doctor. The product should be kept at 20° - 25°C (68° - 77°F), with its carton retained, as it contains important information. The product is distributed by Innovus Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
