Instructions For Use (Ele739 030222 Rev 01 Allday 5000 Pi)
Allday 5000 is a prescription-strength toothpaste containing 1.1% sodium fluoride for daily use as a dental caries preventive in adults and pediatric patients 6 years of age and older. The toothpaste is formulated for dry mouth sufferers, and its inactive ingredients include xylitol, hydrated silica, and glycerin. Regular brushing with Allday 5000 enhances penetration of the fluoride ion into tooth enamel, increasing tooth resistance to acid dissolution. The toothpaste should not be used in pediatric patients under age 6 years unless recommended by a dentist or physician, and it requires special supervision to prevent repeated swallowing of toothpaste containing 1.1% sodium fluoride, which could cause dental fluorosis. Overdose may result in gastrointestinal symptoms, and immediate medical assistance should be sought for more than 5mg fluoride/kg of body weight. Allday 5000 can be used in place of regular toothpaste based on the recommendation of a dentist or physician.*
