Halcinonide Cream is a prescription medicine that is applied topically to the skin, for external use only. It is not recommended for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use. The usual dosage for Halcinonide Cream is to apply to the affected area two to three times a day. The cream should be stored at room temperature and should not be exposed to excessive heat. The product is manufactured by DPT Laboratories Inc. in San Antonio, TX, and is distributed by Sun Pharmacetical Industries, Inc. in Cranbury, NJ. Each gram of the cream contains 1mg halcinonide, USP (0.1%) in a cream base consisting of cetyl alcohol, dimethicone 350, glyceryl monostearate, isopropyl palmitate, polysorbate 60, propylene glycol, purified water, and titanium dioxide.
