This is a drug facts sheet for a stool softener and laxative product. The active ingredients in each tablet are Docusate Sodium (50mg) and Sennosides (8.6mg). The product is used to relieve occasional constipation and generally produces a bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours. The manufacturer warns against using the product for more than 1 week unless directed by a doctor and if you are presently taking mineral oil, unless directed by a doctor. The product should not be used if you have stomach pain, nausea, vomiting or if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a health professional before use. The product should be kept out of reach of children and in case of overdose, medical help or Poison Control Center should be contacted.
