This is a drug used to relieve occasional constipation by producing bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours. It contains docusate sodium 100mg per softgel. Before use, it is important to ask a doctor if one has stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, sudden changes in bowel habits that last for more than two weeks or are currently taking minerals. The recommended dose for adults and children above12 is 1-3 soft gels per day until the first bowel movement and 1 softgel thereafter or as directed by a doctor. It should be kept out of children's reach, and medical aid should be sought in case of an overdose.*
