This is a description of a stool softener laxative called "Calcium STOOL SOFTENER". It contains the active ingredient Docusate Calcium (240mg). It is used to relieve occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces bowel movements in 12 to 72 hours. The recommended dose is 1 softgel daily for adults and children above 12 years of age. The product is not recommended for children under 12 years and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
