This is a description of a medication called Geri-Care 24-Hour Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief. Each tablet contains 10mg of Loratadine, which is an antihistamine. It provides temporary relief of symptoms caused by hay fever and other respiratory allergies, such as runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat. It has some warnings on use, and patients should not use it if there was allergic reactions to it or any of its ingredients. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult a healthcare professional before use. Patients with liver or kidney diseases should also ask a doctor before use. If overdosed, seek medical help right away, and it should be kept out of reach of children. The inactive ingredients include lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate. It is not an alternative to Claritin.
