OXYGEN, REFRIGERATED LIQUID USP is a dangerous oxidizer that may start or intensify fires and result in cryogenic burns or injury. The contents of the cylinder must not be handled until all safety procedures have been read and understood. The cylinder must be kept away from combustible materials and valves and fittings must be kept free of oil and grease. The cylinder must be used and stored in a properly ventilated area, and face shields, gloves, and eye protection must be worn. In case of fire, it is best to stop the leak, use a back flow prevention device in the piping and use only clean equipment rated for oxygen service. Before use, read and follow the safety data sheet (SDS). This cylinder should only be used for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation emergencies by properly trained personnel. High concentrations of oxygen without monitoring its effect on oxygen content of arterial blood may be harmful.*
