This is a drug fact sheet for a hand sanitizer manufactured by Greenbrier International, Inc. The active ingredient is 62% Ethyl Alcohol and it is designated as an antimicrobial sanitizer. This sanitizer can be used for hand-washing and is recommended for repeated use in order to decrease bacteria on the skin. There are warnings to keep the product away from heat and flame, as well as from the eyes, and to avoid ingestion. Users are advised to seek medical help or consult a poison control center if swallowed, to stop using the product and consult a doctor if irritation or redness develops and persists for more than 72 hours. Directions are included for use of the product, which should be rubbed briskly on hands until dry. It has been independently compared with Purell hand sanitizer and has similar active ingredients.*
