This is a drug label for a cough syrup called MaXI-TUSS Jr. It contains Destromethorphan HBr 5mg (cough suppressant) and Phenylephrine HCI 25mg (nasal decongestant). The cough syrup is indicated for relieving cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation with nasal congestion due to a cold, fever, or other upper respiratory allergies while also reducing nervousness, dizziness, and sleeplessness. The syrup comes with a dosage chart for children 12 years and above (2 teaspoons every 4 hours, not exceeding 24 teaspoons in 24 hours) and children under 12 (consult a physician). The product label advises consulting a doctor before use if the individual has high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, an enlarged prostate gland, or difficulty urinating.
