This is a description of a Povidone-Iodine antiseptic solution manufactured by Changzhou Maokang Medical Products Co. Ltd in China. It is used for antiseptic skin preparation and contains 10% w/w Povidone-lodine as its active ingredient. The solution should not be used if allergic to iodine or in the eyes. In case of redness, irritation, swelling, pain, or infection, the use should be stopped, and a doctor should be consulted. The solution is for local application and should be avoided pooling beneath the patient. The solution contains 1% titratable iodine and inactive ingredients, including Hydroxyethyl cellulose, nonoxynol-10, alkyl glucoside, potassium iodide, sodium hydroxide, glycerin, citric acid, and purified water. This product is made for hospital or professional use only. The packaging contains 3 sterile swabsticks, and it is for external use only.*
