The Chronocap™ is a patented Smart Cap designed to keep track of the time since the last time you opened your medication bottle. It comes with a built-in LCD timer and works just like a stopwatch; every time you open the cap, the timer resets back to zero, and when you close the cap, it begins counting up the hours and minutes since the last opening. It has a non-replaceable battery that lasts for a year, and the design is disposable for avoidance of cross-contamination. The display of the cap goes to "sleep" after 100 hours and wakes up on re-opening. The user should clean it with a damp cloth only and avoid immersing in water.*
Chronocap 2 (Chronocap 2)
The Chronocap™ is a time tracking device with a screen that shows elapsed time in hours and minutes. The device stops after 100 hours or 3 minutes if not placed onto the bottle, and it shows SEC1, SEC2, 10, 11, etc. for the first minute of usage. The screen continues to count minutes and hours since the last opening until 99:59 and then appears blank. The device's battery lasts for up to 12 months.*
