OXYGEN, REFRIGERATED LIQUID USP is a container of oxygen with UN 1073 classification that should always be kept upright. It is a dangerous oxidizing liquid and gas that is extremely cold and under high pressure, and can cause severe frostbite. Smoking near it or a fire can result in an explosion upon ignition or impact. The container should only be used with suitable oxygen service equipment and stored and used with proper ventilation. It is essential to avoid any contact with eyes, skin, or clothing, and to wear gloves and a face shield when withdrawing liquid from the container. If it causes frostbite, medical treatment must be obtained immediately. The product's label and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be followed. It is only for emergency use and should be used with the appropriate resuscitative equipment. Uninterrupted high concentration use over a long period of time without monitoring its effect on arterial blood may be harmful. The product is produced by Air Liquefaction.
