This is a description of a mild topical analgesic ointment called Cramergesic. The ointment is used for temporary pain relief of strains, sprains, bruises, simple backache, and arthritis. It contains 1.9% Menthol and 13.7% Methyl Salicylate as active counterirritants that help in the relief of aches and pain. It also helps in relaxing tight, aching muscles and assists in the warm-up process. The ointment is available in a 5 Lb pack and should be applied no more than 3-4 times daily for adults and children 6 years and older. It should not be applied tightly or on wounds or damaged skin.
