CVS Pharmacy Extra Strength Itch Relief Gel is a topical analgesic that relieves itching and pain associated with insect bites, minor skin irritations, scrapes, sunburns, and rashes due to poison ivy, oak, and sumac. The active ingredient, diphenhydramine HCI 2%, is the same as in Benadryl gel.
