This is an oral solution of cetirizine hydrochloride, an antihistamine used for temporary relief of symptoms associated with hay fever or other respiratory allergies including sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat. It is a generic version of Children's Zyrtec which is an original prescription strength medication ideal for children. The solution comes with a dosing cup and should not be used if the carton is opened or if the printed safety seal is broken. The usual dosage is one teaspoonful (5ml) or 2 baspouu (10 L), once a day, depending upon severity of symptoms which may be increased to a maximum of 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) in 24 hours for children under 6 years to one teaspoonful (5 ml) once a day for adults and children over six years old, and not more than 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) in 24 hours for children under 2 years old. It is recommended to wash the dosing cup and leave it to air dry after each use. If an allergic reaction occurs to the product, stop using it immediately and seek medical help right away.*
