CVS' Pharmacy Anesthetic First Aid Antiseptic contains benzalkonium chloride and lidocaine hydrochloride, meant to help reduce the risk of infection, relief pain, and itching in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. The product should not be used in large quantities or over raw surfaces and blistered areas. The product also has warnings for deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, and serious burns. For children under two years old, consult a doctor before use. The product should be applied one to three times daily and covered with sterile gauze or an adhesive bandage.
