CVS/pharmacy™ Cold and Sore Throat Relief is a lemon-flavored hot liquid formula that provides temporary relief from cold symptoms, such as sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, headache, body ache, and fever. It contains acetaminophen, an antihistamine (pheniramine maleate), and a nasal decongestant (phenylephrine HCL). This product is not recommended for individuals with liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, a breathing problem, trouble urinating, or a sodium-restricted diet. Additionally, this product should not be used with another product containing acetaminophen, prescription and nonprescription drugs, or alcoholic beverages. Overdosing on this medication can result in serious liver damage. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention immediately. Children under the age of 12 should consult a doctor before use.*
