It is warned for external use only, avoid contact with eyes, or mucous membranes and not to use on wounds or damaged skin. If symptoms persist for more than seven days, worsen, or irritation develops, a doctor should be contacted. It can be applied generously and repeated but not more than four times daily for adults and children over 12 years. The cream should not be used for children younger than 12 years with a doctor's opinion. It contains other inactive ingredients like edetate dsadium and steark.
