Water-Jel is a pain-relieving gel meant for temporary relief of pain caused by sunburn, minor burns, minor skin irritations, and insect bites. The gel pulls heat from the affected area, cools it down, and reduces burn progression by acting as a heat exchanger. The active ingredient is Lidocaine HCI 2.5%, an external analgesic. The gel should be applied to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily, and it should be stored at 15 to 25°C (59 to 77°F) without freezing. The inactive ingredients include acrylates/C20-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, aloe, carbomer, diazolidny! urea, edetate disodium, glyceryl-7 stearate, methylparaben, octoxynol-9, polysorbate 20, propylene glycol, propylparaben, purified water, spearmint oil, tea tree oil, trolamine, and vitamin E acetate. For children under 2 years, consultation with a doctor is necessary before applying the gel.*
