The pH of the suspension can be adjusted with hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide. It is essentially isotonic with a tonicity of 250 to 310 mOsmol/kg. The product should be stored upright between 15° to 25°C and should not be frozen. Before use, it is recommended to shake the bottle vigorously. Users are advised not to use the product if the pink plastic band under the cap is broken or missing.
