This is a 15 mL bottle of Acetic Acid Otic Solution, USP, 2%. It is a non-congesting solution of glacial acetic acid and 2% propylene glycol in benzethonium chloride, disodium EDTA, and sodium acetate. It also contains fene glycol discetate, and may contain citric acid. This product is intended for otic (ear) use only and is used to treat ear infections. The packaging includes a child-resistant cap to keep it safe from children, and it is important to seek medical help or call a poison control center if it is accidentally ingested. The product should be kept at a controlled room temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F) and stored with a tightly closed container. It is a nonaqueous solution containing Glacial Acetic Acid, USP in a propylene glycol vehicle with other ingredients like benzethonium chloride, USP; propylene glycol diacetate, NF and sodium acetate, USP. The solution may also contain citric acid, USP, and its dosage is indicated in the accompanying package insert. It is manufactured for Lockhard and must be kept out of the reach of children. The container should be closed tightly and stored at 20 0 25°C (68" to 77° P)[see USP. Controlled Room Temperature]. Finally, it is not to be used if the printed "SEALED FOR YOUR PROTECTION®" around the cap is broken or missing.*
