Eagle Balm is an external analgesic that provides penetrating pain relief. It contains menthol and camphor and is used for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pains, strains, and sprains associated with backache, arthritis, and bruises. It should be used externally only and should not be applied to wounds, damaged skin, or mucous membranes. Additionally, it should not be used with a heating pad or bandaged tightly. If symptoms persist for more than seven days, consult a doctor. It is safe for adults and children over 12 years old to apply up to three to four times a day to the affected area. It should be kept out of reach of children, and if accidentally ingested, a doctor or poison control center should be contacted immediately. Its inactive ingredients include fragrance, paraffin, peppermint oil, and petrolatum.*
