Safetec Triple Antibiotic Ointment is a first aid infection protection medication manufactured by Safetec of America, Inc. It is used to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. This antibiotic ointment contains active ingredients such as acitracin zinc, neomycin sulfate, and polymyxin B sulfate. However, it's not recommended to be used internally, over large areas of the body or on puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. It should also not be used for more than a week without a doctor's direction. In case of allergies or any negative reaction, usage of the medication should be stopped immediately, and a doctor should be consulted if the condition persists or worsens. It's important to keep the medication away from children and to contact poison control if ingested. The directions for usage include cleaning the affected area and applying a small amount of the ointment 1 to 3 times daily. It may be covered with a sterile bandage.*
