Tropicamide is an ophthalmic solution (USP) commonly used to dilate the pupil during eye exams. This particular solution is made by NDG under Sandoz, and contains 1% Tropicamide. The usual dosage is 1-2 drops in each eye. The solution must be kept at room temperature, and the container must be tightly closed to preserve solution integrity. This product is sterile and should be kept away from children. The solution comes in a 3mL container, and is only available through prescription.*
