This is a medicated shampoo called Ciclopirox, indicated for topical use only. It should not be used for ophthalmic, oral or intravaginal purposes. The recommended dosage is to wet hair and apply approximately 1-2 teaspoons of the shampoo on the scalp, lather and leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing off. The treatment should be repeated once or twice a week, with a gap of 3 days between each application. The package is not child-resistant and should be kept away from children. If the shampoo does not show clinical improvement after a month of use, the diagnosis should be re-evaluated. Each gram of the shampoo contains 10mg of Ciclopirox. The manufacturer is Taro Pharmaceuticals. Lot number and expiry date are printed on the bottom of the flap.*
