Kool-Down is a pain relief cream with extra strength lidocaine as the active ingredient. It's intended to relieve itching, insect bites, and burns temporarily. However, users must avoid using the cream in large quantities, especially over raw skin surfaces. The drug is not meant to be used around the eyes and should only be used as directed. If symptoms persist for more than seven days, users should seek medical attention from a doctor or Poison Control Center. Kool-Down cream should be kept out of the reach of children, and if swallowed, medical attention should be sought immediately. Apply to affected areas not more than 3-4 times daily, but for children under 5 years, a doctor should be consulted.
