DermaMed Ointment is a skin protectant that helps to dry the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, oak, or sumac, or other skin irritations. It is pH balanced, soothes and promotes healing. The active ingredient is Aluminum Hydroxide Gel 2% and inactive ingredients include petrolatum, lanolin, water, and others. It comes in a net weight of 106 g (3.75 oz.), and can be applied liberally to the affected area as needed or as directed by a physician. It is for external use only, and should be kept out of reach of children. If ingested accidentally, a physician or Poison Control Center should be contacted right away.
