MAXIMUM STRENGTH NIGHTTIME Multi-Symptom is a medicine that provides temporary relief from common cold and flu symptoms such as cough, nasal congestion, minor aches and pains, sore throat, headache, runny nose, and sneezing. It contains Acetaminophen as a pain reliever / fever reducer, Diphenhydramine HCI as an antihistamine / cough suppressant, and Phenylephrine HCI as a nasal decongestant. This medicine is suitable for people above the age of 12. However, it should not be used along with any other drug containing acetaminophen, diphenhydramine, or prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) as it may cause severe side effects. People with liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, enlarged prostate gland, or breathing problems such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis should consult a doctor before taking this medicine. The maximum safe dosage per 24 hours should not exceed five doses. A dosing cup is provided along with the medicine. An overdose of this medicine may cause severe liver damage, and therefore, one should be careful while using it.*
