Clearlax is an osmotic laxative powder solution that is used to treat constipation. The active ingredient is Polyethylene Glycol 3350. However, you should not use it if you have kidney disease and if you are allergic to polyethylene glycol. If you take this medication, you may have loose stools but if you experience difficulty swallowing or experience a sudden change in bowel movements, stop the medication and contact a doctor right away. It is essential that you do not take more medication than the recommended dose as indicated. Additionally, refrain from taking this medication for longer than seven days. Children under 16 should see a doctor before consuming this medication. The product is not gluten-free. It should be stored at temperatures between 20-25 degrees Celsius.
