It is intended to temporarily relieve symptoms of upper respiratory allergies, such as runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, and itchy throat. It contains diphenhydramine HCI 12.5 mg per 5 mL cup as an antihistamine. It is not recommended for use in newborns, premature infants, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people who are hypersensitive to diphenhydramine HCI and other similar antihistamines. It should not be used with any other product containing diphenhydramine, and it should not be given to children to make them sleepy. It is important to consult a doctor before use if you have glaucoma, a breathing problem, sodium-restricted diet, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, or if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives. The product may cause drowsiness, so people should avoid alcoholic drinks, be careful when driving or operating machinery, and not exceed the recommended dose of 60 mL in 24 hours for adults and children 12 years and over, or 30 mL in 24 hours for children 6 to under 12 years old. The inactive ingredients include cherry flavor, citric acid, glycerin, monoammonium glycyrthizinate, poloxamer 407, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, and sucralose.*
