It should not be used with any other product containing diphenhydramine, and it should not be given to children to make them sleepy. It is important to consult a doctor before use if you have glaucoma, a breathing problem, sodium-restricted diet, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, or if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives. The product may cause drowsiness, so people should avoid alcoholic drinks, be careful when driving or operating machinery, and not exceed the recommended dose of 60 mL in 24 hours for adults and children 12 years and over, or 30 mL in 24 hours for children 6 to under 12 years old.
