Actinel is a cough syrup that contains the same active ingredients as Tusnel but has a new formula. It is a cough suppressant, expectorant, and nasal decongestant that is sugar-free, dye-free, and alcohol-free. It helps in relieving nasal congestion, sinus congestion, pressure, and opening passages. It also loosens phlegm and clears bronchial passages. It is not to be used for persistent coughs such as those due to asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland.
