Actinel is a cough syrup that contains the same active ingredients as Tusnel but has a new formula. It is a cough suppressant, expectorant, and nasal decongestant that is sugar-free, dye-free, and alcohol-free. It helps in relieving nasal congestion, sinus congestion, pressure, and opening passages. It also loosens phlegm and clears bronchial passages. It is not to be used for persistent coughs such as those due to asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland. It should not be taken with certain drugs such as prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitors. It must be kept out of reach of children and tamper-evident. It must not be taken more than the recommended dosage and should be stopped if symptoms such as nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur.*
