This is a Sterile injection of Calcium Gluconate used for calcium supplementation, with each mL containing 94 mg of calcium gluconate and 4.5 mg of calcium saccharate. The pH of the injection is adjusted using hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide, and each mL has a concentration of 0.465 mEq/mL and 0.276 mOsmol/mL. This USP Injection has no preservatives and is packaged in 10 mL single use vials, with a maximum allowable aluminum concentration of 512 mcg/L. The solution has to be clear and the bottles have to be stored between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Precipitation may occur if the solution is supersaturated, and package insert instructions should be followed for dosage. Store at Controlled Room Temperature and discard unused portions. This product contains no natural rubber latex. *
