Tranexamic Acid Injection USP is a medication for intravenous use only that contains Tranexamic acid. The medication comes in 10 x 10 mL single-dose vials where each mL contains 100 mg active Tranexamic acid and inactive water for injection. The medication should be discarded after use. The usual dosage should be followed as mentioned in the package insert. The medication should be stored at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to T7°F), and excursions to 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F) are permitted as per USP Controlled Room Temperature. The container closure is not made of natural rubber latex. The manufacturer of this medication is Fresenius Kabi, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.*
