Ertapenem is a prescription drug available in a single-dose vial form. Each vial contains 1.046 grams of Ertapenem sodium which is equivalent to 1 gram ertapenem. The inactive ingredients include 175 mg sodium bicarbonate and sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH to 7.5.
