This is an intravenous solution called "5% Dextrose and 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP" used only with a prescription. Each 100 mL contains 5g Dextrose and 800mg Sodium Chioride. The electrolytes per 1000mL are Sodium 154 mEq and Chioride 154 mEg. It is not advised to store after adding additives and should be used with aseptic technique. The solution should be used as per package instructions immediately after removing from overwrap. The solution is not made with natural rubber latex and is sterile. Made in Germany by Fresenius Kabi.*

This is a description of a 1000 ml intravenous solution of 5% Dextrose and 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP to be used for intravenous purposes only. The solution contains electrolytes per 1000 ml such as 154 mEq of Sodium chloride and Chloride. This solution is for single use only and its usual dosage is provided in the package insert. The container closure for this solution is non-PVC, Non-DEHP and sterile made in Germany. Store at 20-25°C and protect from freezing.*
