This is a description of Povidone-iodine Prep Winged Sponges which are sterile and contain large sponges saturated in povidone-iodine 10%. It is an antiseptic used for preparing the skin prior to surgery or to reduce bacteria that can potentially cause skin infections. It can cause irritation and should not be applied to persons allergic to iodine, and should not be used in the eyes. It is for external use only and for hospital or professional use only. Inactive ingredients include Glycolic Acid, Nyl Glucoside, Hydroxyethyl, Gelulose, Nonaxynol-10, Glycein, Sodium Hydroxide, and Potassium iodide.*
