This is a description of an oral solution called Cromolyn Sodium produced by BRP Pharmaceuticals. Each 5 ml ampule contains 100 mg of cromolyn sodium dissolved in purified water. The ampules need to be stored in a foil pouch to protect them from light and kept between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). The solution should not be used if it has become discolored or contains a precipitate. Cromolyn Sodium Oral Solution is intended for oral use only and must be diluted before use.
