Estradiol Vaginal Cream, USP is an unperfumed medication that contains 0.1 mg estradiol per gram of the cream. It is intended for vaginal use only and comes with a calibrated applicator for accurate dosage. It is composed of purified water, stearyl alcohol, white ceresin wax, mono- and di-glycerides, hypromellose, sodium lauryl sulfate, methylparaben, edetate disodium, t-butylhydroquinone, and polysorbate. Patients must store the medication at room temperature, and it is best to protect it from exposure to temperatures beyond 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). It should be kept away from children. A 42.5g tube is available for prescription.*
