Formoterol Fumarate Inhalation Solution is a pharmaceutical product that is contained in 2 mL vials and is designed for oral inhalation use only. Each vial contains 20 mcg/2 mL vial of the active ingredient, Formoterol Fumarate, USP. The inactives include citric acid, sodium chloride, and water. It is recommended that the vial be stored in the foil pouch and kept refrigerated at a temperature of 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) before dispensing. After dispensing to the patient, it can be stored at room temperature, 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), for up to three months. The product should be discarded when the drug expires.
