Octreotide Acetate Injection is a medication used for subcutaneous injection. The vial contains 100mcg of octreotide acetate along with glacial acetic acid, USP 2.0 mg, sodium acetate trihydrate, USP 2.0 mg, mannitol, USP 45mg and water for injection, USP, gs. Glacial acetic acid, USP and sodium acetate trihydrate, USP are added to provide a buffered solution that maintains a pH of 4.2±0.5. It is recommended to store it in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C and protect it from light. Octreotide Acetate Injection is stable for 14 days if protected from light when stored at room temperature, (20°C to 30°C or70°F to 86°F). One box contains 25 single-dose vials.*
